What about these so-called CA' buyers of SOL debts :x " like camco etc. they get hard copies of people's credit report and they don't have permissible purpose in my view. I read an article I can't find it right now where a CA had some one steal a debtors info and ran up a lot of debt in that persons name. XtypeX

Yes, there are unfortunate cases like this, the best you can hope is that when their internal departments discover such problems. That they have a system in place to notify all customers affected by the breach.
Experian recently had a press release of one such case, if you check out their web site, and they posted for a particular group to contact them that may have been involved.
The only thing you can do, when you are made aware is take percautions to activate fraud alert, and take all nessasary steps to insure you are covered in the event that something does happen! People can do this, and correctly counter such attacks, I do know this for a fact.
