Debt validation WORKS!!

Hi,
I just wanted to mention all the advice I got from the boards and self help forms truely worked! The one collection account I had on my credit has been removed, and I followed the exact steps in the debt validation section. I used to post anonymously on the old board, so I don't know if anyone would remember so I wont bring up the story.

I was actually getting letters from a lawyer that had been assigned a debt. A notorious one at that. In fact I saw his name and his firms name listed on "most notorious" collection agencies on a consumer protection website.

But the firm turned out to be a paper tiger...the collection account has BEEN REMOVED!!! I am so happy. I would like to encourage everyone. VALIDATE! VALIDATE! VALIDATE!!!! The majority of these agencies are cowards...you just have to take them on.

Now if i Could only get the two charge offs of my report..:confused: Ha! I can always play the waiting game with them...the collection is gone! I am so glad because they kept changing the last activity date which itself is illegal...
