I actually had a loan (2nd mortgage) with them. They were fine, though the interest rate was a little steep. I refinanced after about a year.

My bad - guess I should have not thought everyone could read my mind LOL
I've got a debt with them, want to settle on it for 1/2 or so. Debt is for like 2700, want to settle for 1350ish.....wondering if anyone has done that with them and how they are about removing debt.
Its the only one I have left to battle and then I'm clean (other than the ones that I mentioned in another post that haven't fallen off yet) I've done well with steering clear of Beneficial, saving them for last <hehe>
<sigh> maybe my score will start to reflect the hard work and gray hairs.
thanks Kristy!

Ok, here's my beneficial update. THEY SUCK!
75 on the 1.00 is all they would go. Told them I would look at it and call them back. They said if they didn't close the deal right then and there that it wouldn't be valid anymore and I told them that was fine.
They also asked all the where are you working, renting/own and even how much I paid in rent. I told them asking me how much I pay for my house is none of their business.
i know I opened Pandora's box...damn. Oh well.

75% isn't bad - it's better than paying the full amount!
