i have a judgement for 5,023.00 and it will be seven years 8/01/03. Im trying to get a house this year. Will the loan processors really weigh this negagtive item against me since it will fall off nest year. :o

If the judgment was filed in the same county or state that you are buying a house, it's possible that the title company will find it when they do a title search on you. You could wait and see if they find it before deciding whether or not to pay it.

You can always wait and settle later for less.
