Thank you calawyer for that artical. I fell once for those pesky card (acevisa ) with a card limit of 100 , and a repair kit that cost 400 dollars! long story, but I am fighting it.

You're welcome. Good luck--that "deal" sounds outrageous.

YIKES...acevise...united credit nation bank...south dakota...lol..i had that one alos...mine was 500 dollar limit...came pre-loaded with 475 in charges act and of course the "repair kit"...well..i actually figued this is the only way im ever gonna get a CC so i paid the bal down and for about a year kept things as under control as you can with a con artist for a CC.......and ya know what...one day i get a letter swtating that my cards be sold to another lender and ill get a letter in the mail from the purchaser,..they even sent back my last payment, if u can believe that....
and i did get a letter from the purchaser...about 6 months later....from a CA...turns out household bought my account and never contacted me...
this was about umm.. 2 years ago...i only recently found out what happened by following the list of CA's and the sold to another lender notes ect...
ugh what a nightmare......but at least now i know what to do...and NOT to do EVER again.. :)
