There's no sure way to tell. If it has a ZERO balance when you file, then there's no need to include it in your BK to start with - there is no debt there.

Most BK judges won't allow you to reaffirm unsecured debts, its injurious to your 'fresh start'.

The ones I DO know that will close you out are AMEX (and blacklist you forever), Lowes, JC Penny's and Sears. I'm sure there are a LOT of others.

Strange but true, a friend of mine filed BK recently and Sears as expected showed up. They offered her a deal to keep the card. Zero interest until she paid it off and then return to normal. Unreal but true.
