You guys know how hard it is to get a personal loan thru them? What scores are needed, etc. I have two HH credit cards right now, don't know if that matters since they are owned by HH.

I am assuming that Beneficial is a sub prime outfit. Like Wells Fargo Financial, CitiFinancial, etc...

If so, then the sub-primes have fairly loose credit policies although you will have to bend over on the interest rate.

Wells Fargo Financial charged me 33 percent interest for every loan I took with them.

They are pretty easy to get a personal loan with. DH used to work for them. Rate are high and they sometimes require you to do an auto draft from your checking account.

what about an auto loan? my mom said I should check with them, but she wasn't sure if they give auto loans. i have no co-signer either. i have no down payment and i need a car bad! need, not want. :)

Are the loans for 2 years or 3 years? What is the interest rate 18%?

Before trying Beneficial, I would try Household Auto(www.householdauto.com) Yes, I realize they are the same company, but I can just speak from experience in my dealings with HH. They gave me a chance when no one else would and I got an instant decision.

You know, when I went to HH to refi my auto, I initially got denied too. Then when I got up the next morning and checked my email, they said I was approved. :? Seemed kinda strange....but hey....there may be hope! :P
