I am 8 months post bk discharge & decided to apply for a credit card thru Orchard Bank to start rebuilding. I tried to research others and found that Orchard may be the lesser of all evils. I need to submit my $19 processing fee, but before I do I wanted to get others opinion on this credit card.

Thank you in advance for any helpful advise/information.

Is this an offer you got in the mail?

I had received several offers from various cards including Orchard since my BK discharge in August but threw the offers away. I had placed an opt out option and have not received any offers for the past 2 months so I decided to apply online for Orchard credit card.

Do you have any opinions about Orchard? I've seen some negative testimonials but they seemed to be the only card that didn't want an arm and a leg from a person who is trying to rebuild post BK.

It is a good card to start out with. If you want to know more about it you can go to the Obtaining Credit Cards, Auto Loans and Financing forum.

The reason why I asked about the invitation was because you can usually avoid the processing fee.

Instead of clicking where they say-I have a mail/email offer. My Acceptance Code/Invitation Number is:

Go to-I do not have a mail/email offer. I would like to apply now!

and you should not be charged a processing fee.
