JDB Reporting me Late on CB Report after Sending 2 DVs

The JDB is reporting my account late, to the 3 CBs, after I have sent them two DV requests. Maybe I misunderstood....aren't JDBs suppose to not even be on your credit report until the debt is validated? There is a statement saying I dispute the debt. Thanks for your help.

Yeah...you misunderstood. They can report; but if you disputed the debt w/in 30 days of initial communication [w/ the JDB], then they must cease collection until they provide validation to you. If they verify the TL w/ the CRAs AFTER they received your DV letter, then they have continued collection, a violation of FDCPA § 809(b).

The JDB was not even reporting this account until after I asked for debt validation. Then, they reported me. I have proof of asking/mailing for debt validation within the 30 days. The clerk-represenative of the JDB company sent me a letter stating they were reporting my account as disputed to the credit bureaus. The JDB has not sent me real validation of this debt. I have gotten a statement with my name and address, a wrong phone number, and a balance with fees.
