Hi all. :)

All is going well, gradual and steady financially for me and my family. I invest in my company stock up to max. amount and save in 401(k) as much as we can afford.

My wife and I are thinking of doing some very small investing in other stocks. The criteria we are looking for are:

1. We choose the stock or fund using our research.
2. Automatic deduction from our credit union account monthly.
3. Very low fees per transaction.

I have seen Sharebuilder.com and like the things they are promoting. Anyone use them or a similar gradual, no-minimum investment for individuals they could recommend we look into. :?:

Thanx in advance for any comments.

I like foliofn.com. You can be your own mutual fund manager as you can buy fractional shares. Start with $1000 and buy 10-15 stocks you like. They have very low commissions and a good monthly package if you like to trade often.

For research, I use Schwab since my IRA is there, and marketedge.com

I also use Sharebuilder. Been with them for like 6 or 7 years. Extremely user-friendly website.
