You have to set your editing to the max to see more smilies.

Click up top on "User CP"
Click the link (4th down, I think) "Edit Options"
Scroll all the way down that page and find the last box
The first drop-down menu offers 3 options for the level of editing
Choose WYSIWYG - the last optionThen you'll have all kinds of fun stuff. *swoon*

Are there any way to edit the number of posts viewed per page?

Go to "User CP" @ the top. Click on "Edit Options"; then scroll down half way to "Thread Display Options". You should see "Number of Posts to Show Per Page".;)

To fix your Avatar-Drop down 'Quick Links' from above, select Edit Profile, then from the profile screen select Edit Avatar. In the first block it is defaulted to 'No Avatar' Deselect that and in the bock below, you can select 'Custom Avatar' to change to yours.

Also-When Changing your profile for the first time, Please add your HOME state to the state field. This is now a required field for those that are assisting you to help apply your home state rules to your situations.

To Enter/Edit Your User Title (title that appears under your username):

Click "User CP"
Click "Edit Profile"
Under "Optional Information", you should see "Custom User Title". Enter it as you like.

Avatars are now limited in size to 80x80 pixels. Anything larger will NOT work, nothing will change.

Profile pics can be different but are limited to a size of 100 x 100 px.

If anyone needs to have a fav avatar reduced in size and you don't have a graphics program, let me know and I can reduce it for you.

One more thing that was brought up:

You will notice: Under Posting Rules you may have "May Not Post Attachments" .

That's permanent - I'm not allowing avatars or attachments to be stored here. If you want to post a picture, do an image link.

This has nothing to do with PM notifying methods or full boxes...but I wanted to say this since we're talking about PMs.

When I first started poking around, I was upset there wasn't a "save message" folder. (And also that all my saved messages were deleted during the switch, but that's a different story)

But I saw that you can create a new folder and name it whatever you want. So I just made my own saved messages folder and can send stuff there manually.

Just thought that was mighty helpful and wanted to share. :D

when u reply to a topic, scroll down below where it says to submit or preview.
middle of the "additional options" box subscription type: then pick if you want instant emails or daily or whatever you want. i believe you can also susbscribe to a thread without posting, using the "thread tools" at the top of the thread.

I noticed if I preview my post before submitting it, it does automatically subscribe me to that thread.

Also, we CAN see the reputation comments posted by other readers. Tina posted a reputation comment on one of my posts. :-| I went to "User CP" and it showed "latest reputation received"

Oh...and Tina???? http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y72/rmuse00/biteme.gif

ok... so learned about deleting posts!

a soft DELETE vs. a Hard Delete!

heh.

Un-less any one minds.. I will HARD delete these posts to try to keep this thread On Topic!

:)

(Neat Feature BTW... I wish I had come up with a better reason! :) )

(edit: I have hard deleted the 'chatty posts' here... If you have a problem or issue relating to this action, let me know personally and we can work on that particular issue, in person.... but I'm guessing most of you don't give a **** and would not be willing to come over here to the boon docks to give me a massage.. so there! )

Pffft...other than a lot of OT fooling around in this thread, one thing I can say for sure it the BESTEST TIP:

If you post a thread, immediately use the "Thread Tools" link at the top of the first post to subscribe to it, so you can find it again and/or receive notifications of replies.

Or, better yet - turn the option on by default in your User CP > Edit Options > Messaging & Notification > Default Thread Subscription Mode

Or, better yet - turn the option on by default in your User CP > Edit Options > Messaging & Notification > Default Thread Subscription Mode

Yeppers... The otherside of this is to add a rule to your email client so that the notifications are sent to their own inbox where you can quickly review them and discard as needed!
