Has anyone ever heard of Bruce J. Danielson? He runs a web site called Firststone.com I was told they specialize id debt negotiation. I have been able to remove a lot of negatives from my reports in the pass month but I think I am sure I may have to settle with maybe two CA’s so I was considering calling them for some advice

I haven't heard of Bruce Danielson, but I do know anytime you're going to seek out help with debt consolidation, debt settlement, credit counseling--whatever, you should be extremely careful. Most in this profession have come under a lot of scrutiny due to issues with excessive fees, misuse of non-profit status, scams, etc.
There is a myriad of scam stories and things to watch for...like anyone promising to give you a "new credit report" or anyone claiming they can make your debts disappear. Just be careful is all I'm saying.
The main thing to remember-debt settlement shouldn't be used as a means to avoid paying bills. If you're truly in a hardship situation, than a fair look at your financial picture should help you decide whether or not debt settlement help is for you.
Remember...research ANY one who claims they can help, check them with the BBB, run the gamet if need be, education is your best weapon--the LAST thing those of us in debt/credit repair needs is MORE troubles.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I was going to make payment arrangements with University of Phoenix. I was a student in 2002. The debt is about $1,250.00 I called and asked if i paid 300 a month over a 4 month period would they delete and the person told me NO! I am not sure it would be to my benefit to pay because if I do they will report it and it will bring down my score
