Here's the joke that got a LOT of play when I lived in Miami.

4 friends are riding in a car on a trip. They are from Idaho, Nebraska, Miami and NYC.

Friend from Idaho goes into his backpack and starts throwing potatoes out the car window. The other friends demand, "What are you doing?" Friend from Idaho responds, "You don't understand, we have so many of these in Idaho, I just need to get rid of some."

10 minutes later, the friend from Nebraska goes into his backpack and starts throwing corn out the car window. The other friends demand, "What are you doing?" Friend from Nebraska responds, "You don't understand, we have so many of these in Nebraska, I just need to get rid of some."

Another 10 minutes later, the friend from Miami throws the friend from NYC out the window.
