Wine Tasting Clubs

Anyone ever belong to one?

I always wondered what these were like.
I remember years ago I used to get stuff in the mail in reference to this.

I haven't seen that. I did go to a Wine Tasting Fundraiser a few weeks ago. They had about 20 different varieties to choose from, you got a list and a pencil when you arrived (so you could mark off the ones you tried/what you thought, etc).

But I had to stick to trying the whites (I have a tendency to spill on myself) which are not usually my fav and I only tried 3 (since anymore and I'd be stumbling in my heels) :roll:

I've turned into a lightweight in my old age. I'm sure my Irish ancestors are turning over in their grave :lol: :lol:

There is a club here where people meet once a month and then you all get together for dinner and everyone brings a bottle of one kind of wine or from one area. It's fun!
