Or drag racers? What have you got? Currently 3 trucks, an 06 Ram, a 96 Dakota I use for drag racing (when it stays together, LOL), and a 67 Dodge D100 shortbed I just picked up to do as a custom.

Or drag racers?

My first car was a '66 Barracuda. Ran it at the drag strip on weekends.

Sure would like to have another one.

Those early A-bodies are good looking cars! Nice and light too!! There are still a ton of them around and they are "cheap" compared to their big brother B and E body siblings. Go get one!!!!

all mopar family here..'00 4x4, 06 jeep.
my favorite was a '61 chrysler 300G my family had when i was growing up.
413 wedge with 2-4bbl cross-ram intake. it was a tank, but cruised real smooth at 130 mph.
second favorite was a '66 dodge coronet 500 fastback. 383 with a torqueflite. won quite a few drags on the street with it "factory stock".:D
i always wanted a hemi-cuda, but my insurance agent kept telling me i wasn't rich enough to afford it.

I dont think you can buy a 70-74 Barracuda/Cuda for under 50 grand right now, even with a slant 6. Barret Jackson auction ruined the whole industry. Everyone and their mother with a pre 74 car thinks they are sitting on a gold mine.

Ford Falcon with a 289 bored out to 302, balanced, blueprinted. Mopar scoop & various parts. Formula 400 trans rebuilt with shift kit.

I got a 10.2 second quarter mile once. 0-60 must've been 3-4 seconds.

(Hey, don't laugh! I had less than $4000. in it, total! And there wasn't much that could touch me, back in '83. Nothing from the factory, anyway. 427 Corvettes would do okay but only after about 1 mile.)

Then, I put an interior in it and muffler with a California cut off kit.
(That's a lever that disconnects the mufflers. You should see the expression on folks' faces in the cars next to me when I opened that!)

I sold it after a cyclist crashed racing me. (He survived with only a broken leg, but I felt responsible.) Honda V65 Magnas we're a crap bike, IMO. Too short a wheel base. You couldn't power shift 'em at all without it standing straight up. From what I could see.

I survived & now I drive like a Grandma! :punknanner:

Drag racing is cool, as long as you keep it at the track, and off the street. I have scraped enough kids off the road already.

Ever since the stupid movies came out, every high school kid buys himself a Honda, puts $500 worth of stupid junk on it, and thinks he is a racer.

I'm a big fan of the fart cans and the "powered by Honda" stickers...that's about a hundred horepower increase!

I saw a "powered by ACURA" sticker on a 86 legend....funniest thing ever! Bunch of teens rollin downtown with that car...couldn't stop laughing!
