Does anyone know anything about the online companies that complete all your bankruptcy form for you, for a small fee. Thanks

There may be a legitimate such company out there...but...if there is, we've yet to hear of it. Just another scam to take money from people who are desparately looking for an easy way out.

I'd suggest you first go talk with a couple of BK attorneys in your area. Most will give a free consultation. See whether you would qualify for a BK 7 or BK 13...if its a 13, you're going to need a lawyer's help. If its a BK 7, you might be able to do it yourself.

As Willing said, these places are a BAD idea. Even if you qualify for a Ch 7, the new law has so many 'gotchas' in it that one error can get your case dismissed. It's best to find a way to pay a lawyer and do it the right way.

Some of these document prep places have been nailed by the USDOJ for 'unauthorized practice of law', still others have been shut down for promoting bankruptcy fraud.

The bottom line is, you MUST know EXACTLY what's in your schedules and WHY the amounts and entries are where they are on your forms.
