I learned something.
I was not aware that if you default on one of your credit cards, that gives other creditors the right to raise their rate on you as well to the default rate.
They call it a universal default? WOW!! More reason to be cautious I guess.
She also mentioned that if your FICO drops, they also have the right to raise your APR. To me, that doesnt make sense and Ive never heard of it happening to anyone before.
Weird.
Back to work.

I didn't see the show, but I thought they were trying to get rid of the universal default on the CC's.
There is an article over on the CB

Suze Orman actually had accurate information?? Well, I guess I learned something new today, too. :p
I thought universal default was on its way out. Not even Capital One employs it anymore.

Based on my understanding, Suze overstated the implications of a drop in FICO and universal default.
But I thought the Oprah show was worthwhile and interesting. I'd never known that Suze got into this stuff because she was in $250K credit card debt. Honestly, I've never heard her admit she's less than perfect!!
I thought her demeanor on Oprah was much nicer and easier to handle than what she does on her own program.

I'm not a fan of Snoozie Wh0reman.... especially when combined with NOprah.
She's the same person who said that a car is the worst financial investment you can make (and I think she's right), in spite of the fact that it's a necessity these days... I wasn't too surprised when I saw her doing ads for GMC financing programs.

haa haa, unfortunately I didn't see her today. I was busy sleeping for work but it sounds like it would have been interesting.
