wine clubs?

does anyone know of any wine clubs that offer free trials? or just wine clubs in general?

Depends on what you want-I belong to a couple, get great wine monthly going into a closet but also, I live close enough to Napa to go to their seasonal happenings, eg- wonderful food and wine pairings, jazz and wine, holiday wine pairings......:lol:

I just joined wine of the month club to check it out. No fees, they send 2 bottles a month max cost $20 and they say if you don't like the wine you don't pay for that bottle. I'm very picky about wine so we will see if they honor this or not. You can cancel at any time. I will post after I start to receive the wines. One feature I did like is that you can choose whether you want a mixed delivery (1 red, 1 white) or just white or just red. Some of the others I saw would only allow you to mix or pick red only. I don't care for many reds so I strictly want white wine.

At Total Wine & Spirits they have wine tastings fairly often. I know they're in DE, they might be in NJ. Of course, we don't have them in PA because the government runs the liquor stores here.

I think they're having a wine tasting in Vegas in June. It's hosted by some online forum. Maybe you all shoud go? 8-)

There are also some in Virginia, and I believe one store not called Total Wine that is associated that is in Maryland

There are only 30 states that wine can be shipped to. The other 20 don't allow wine shipments. Unfortunately, Maryland is one of the 20.
