Rock Financial, Countrywide

After complaining to the Attorney General regarding the predatory loans etc of these two institutes I was contacted by the Office of Financial & Insurance Regulation. Its been since May and haven't heard much. Other than getting a "it wasn't me" letter from Countrywide pleading they're innocent of any wrong-doing. Has anyone heard anything regarding esp Rock Financial. Was just wondering....will contact OFIR myself this week for an update. All these foreclosures and it seems not many talking.

Here's the info on Countrywide. I am in foreclosure, but when I called the number I entered my account number and they said I was eligible for assistance thru this program. They notated that I was interested in pursuing a mortgage revision, and said I would receive a letter outlining the steps I need to take on or around Dec 1. It's worth a shot. looks like worst case scenario I would qualify for relocation assistance funds.

Nope - they never got back to me but posting a new thread. MI and several other states have gotten a settlement from Countrywide - now BOA.
