To conserve server space we are reducing the maximum size of the posts to 1500 characters.
If this is too restrictive, let us know.

I'm not sure it will really help the way you want it too as I suspect you'll find that those with more to say will just split-up their posts. :)

I will click on more ads if it will help you get more space. Space is cheap.

I probably wouldn't take the time to read a 1500 character post.

That first post in your progress thread is about that long (or long enough).

LOL, that's true. But that is more of a personal diary. It should be long and drawn out.

Touché (and a very good personal diary at that). But it's because of posts like yours that I had to vote no. :)++

Looks like some of us are going to have to become masters of one-liners.

As fun as they are, Im sure the signatures are using more bandwidth than long posts... (I know I am guilty as well).

I know I am late to the party, but did this restriction get lifted? If not, are quotes exempted from the character count? I just put up a post that has to be longer than 1500 characters, even without the quotes, but it went through.

Thanks for bringing this thread back to life.
I still think it's wrong to restrict someone explaining there situation.
