Thank you for contacting the Attorney General's office. The details of the plan to provide payments to some Countrywide borrowers who lost their homes to foreclosure are still being worked out. At this point, I anticipate that those Michigan borrowers who will qualify will be getting something in the mail from the settlement administrator in the next two months. A number of states have joined in the settlement, and it takes time to coordinate the settlement disbursement process. Consequently, watch your mail in the coming months.
