I was at the CU today trying to refi my car loan, and they saw my judgements and flipped out.
2 from a utility company for about $1200/ea. Filed 5/2004. - Scheduled to be on file till July 2011. Never served, had no idea.
1 from my forclosure. I never got any paperwork, I abandoned the house and never got anything from anyone. the TL on the mortgage itself says $0 balance and is scheduled to come off this month, but the judgement doesn't say it's satisfied with the sale of the house. Filed 5/03, scheduled to continue until 4/10
1 from Discover CC for about $3800. Filed 6/06, scheduled to continue 6/13. Served and ignored in 2006.
All these courts are about 200+ miles away as well, so just hopping over to the courthouse is something not easily done.
Where do I even start? Is this pretty much bankrupcy worthy???
I've got pretty much everything else off my reports and the last 5 years have been fairly clean (1 late, 2 small collections under $200 - medical and auto insurance).
I've got most of my scores to 620-640 even with these judgements and stuf.
Help?!?
