I have a judgment filed against me since 2006. The attorney representing the JDB was not able to collect anything. Another CA was checking my credit report every month for almost a year.
Now I've got a letter from the first JDB, stating that they have a judgment and asking me if I want to validate it?
It's all new to me. Why they are asking if I want to request a validation?

I couldn't tell you, but yes I'd ask for validation. Make them work for their money.
