Lost case question

Question - just lost to Capital One today - they never provided proof (attorney) that they were legally hired by Capital One and my credit report shows a charge off. Also the SOl is CA is 4 years but in Virginia is 3 years and I explained to the judge that there was a California Case on this where the Appellate Court ruled on that for the lower SOl but he did not want to hear it. Any ideas?

Hard to say without knowing a lot more.

Generally speaking, telling the Judge is not enough, you could tell him the sky is green with yellow stripes and inhabited by drunken spiders who steal your radio waves; but without any admissible evidence to prove your contention he isn't likely to take any notice of you.

Was this in a real court or one of the small claims variety? If it is the later then it is probably time to appeal and get it before a real judge and understands how radio waves sometimes do get stolen. ;)
