Default Zakheim & associates.
Hi There.

Got A letter today from Zakheim & Associates Regarding City bank.

Originally we where dealing with Associated Recovery Systems and City bank. We sent them (ARS) A DV letter and then A follow up letter 30 days later with no response to either. That was back in December 09.

Should I send Zakheim another DV letter or just copies of the ones we sent ARS . Has anyone had to deal with these people before. I have heard that they can be pretty nasty.

Is this in or out of SOL?

Has the debt been sold or are they just collecting for Citi?

They are collecting for Citi. They have not yet assigned an attorney to the file. So i'm assuming that they want to see if I fold before they do so.
