Default Can I have old mailing addresses deleted?

One of my credit reports has about 20 addresses going back to 1986, two of which are my fathers (where I never received mail or lived). Most are places that I stayed temporarily for as little as 2 weeks. Can I have them deleted? There are total strangers living at those temp addresses and at my former permanent addresses which may still be receiving financial correspondence in my name.

Creditors, insurance companies and financial institutions can see these old addresses and try to send me offers that I will never receive.

Yes. Try a combination of removing by disputing online first, then phone, then letter. See this thread. http://debt-consolidation-credit-rep...ving+addresses

Search for other examples.

Default Writing a letter has always worked quickest for me.

If you send your letter disputing the addresses you want removed to the actual person who shows up when you sue their arse its amazing how quickly little stuff like an address correct occurs.
