I just got served a Summons by the sheriff 5 minutes ago.
Im being sued by a Debt collector and I have 30 days to respond. I have no idea where to begin with a response. Its for a debt of $3696 plus attorney fees from a credit card that was charged off in 2003. They attached a copy of what is allegedly the credit card agreement but there is no signature or date or provisions for that. Its almost like the agreement that companies send with credit card offers. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I have been reading similar threads about statue of limitation or discovery but Its a lot of info to filter through. This creditor also does not show up on my credit report. |
